The baseball season is coming to a close and the playoffs are about to begin.  It is an exciting time for all baseball lovers such as myself as I cannot wait for the postseason to get underway.

The end of the regular season also means the debates for awards will begin and I have decided to kick start the discussion by naming my award winners.

Baseball awards and power rankings through the quarter pole

The Major League Baseball season is just around the quarter mark of the year as teams are right around the point where they have completed 25% of their schedules.

With plenty of time for a turnaround, we have a general idea of which teams are strong and which teams are not, the same goes for players.
